Easy Faux Tin House Lanterns

CONFESSIONS OF A PLATE ADDICT Easy Faux Tin House LanternsI have a fun and easy little project to share today…one that I had been hoping to figure out in time for Christmas…and I did! I don’t know about you, but I love looking at beautiful photos of Scandinavian homes all dressed for Christmas...and they almost always include some sort of lantern or candle holders that are made of tin. So when I spied some wonderful tin house lanterns, I fell in love! Only problem…most of them are over $50 EACH! Yikes! Sooo…my little wheels started turning!

Happy Thanksgiving 2015

Wishing a Happy Thanksgiving to each and every one of you! It's my favorite holiday...a time to stop and count my blessings. Our gathering will be small, but those who cannot be at the table will be in our hearts. I am thrilled to say that we have a new little face joining our family this year, too! :-) And I thank you, my wonderful readers, for always taking time out of your busy day to stop by and visit. It means so much to me. Enjoy this special day with your family!

Easy Vintage Tartlet Tealights

One of my most recent thrifitng outings (read about it HERE) netted me something I had been wanting for a while…a little collection of vintage tartlet tins. And…that means that I get to make something that I have had cooking in my brain for a while…tartlet tealights! They just seem to me to add the perfect touch to the  holiday table…little bits of warmth scattered about the tablescape to make your guests feel special! And I discovered that they were even easier to make than I thought!
