I have a fun and easy little project to share today…one that I had been hoping to figure out in time for Christmas…and I did! I don’t know about you, but I love looking at beautiful photos of Scandinavian homes all dressed for Christmas...and they almost always include some sort of lantern or candle holders that are made of tin. So when I spied some wonderful tin house lanterns, I fell in love! Only problem…most of them are over $50 EACH! Yikes! Sooo…my little wheels started turning!

Woo hoo! It’s time for my favorite event at my favorite place…Christmas Open House at the Queen of Hearts Antiques and Interiors in Alpharetta, Georgia! I can always count on having lots of fun and finding some wonderful holiday inspiration…and this year was no exception! Add some Christmas music in the background…the first I had heard this year…and it was perfect!

HERE) netted me something I had been wanting for a while…a little collection of vintage tartlet tins. And…that means that I get to make something that I have had cooking in my brain for a while…tartlet tealights! They just seem to me to add the perfect touch to the holiday table…little bits of warmth scattered about the tablescape to make your guests feel special! And I discovered that they were even easier to make than I thought!
